page sixteen:

Osain

the woman pondered the message she would write, and while she was sleeping osain sent her a dream.

in the dream there was a woman diligently and meticulously writing/drawing on pieces of paper. most people thought the stuff didn't make any sense. she handed over two pages and the woman in the tower was amazed at how detailed and carefully all the lines were written, including variations in the thickness of the lines themselves.

after looking at it for a while she realized that what was written was the grain of wood... showing that the grain of wood was actually a language that people had not noticed before, way more than the date and growth pattern of the wood.

Finally, when she awoke, she had chosen the words she would offer.........
